Caleb Cam: 1

This is something funny that Caleb has been doing lately.

He loves the camera and loves to take pictures. He holds up any object and asks the person that it is facing to say, "cheeeeeese." When he get a hold of the real camera it is fun to see what he takes a picture of. I've been just trashing these photos but then thought that it would be fun to show off his photography. This should be a fun series.

Valentines Day

Hannah calls today, Love Day.

We made Love Day cards for our family. Hannah had the most fun with this and Sarah just ate the markers. Caleb liked to make cards too but lost interest before he made one for everyone. Hannah was so into it she wanted to make one for everyone she knew... Grammy, her friend Nathan, our dog Logan.

Hannah and I made more decorations while the other 3 took there naps. We made heart flowers and butterfly's to hang from the sealing fan over our table. And we made centerpiece items too. She loves to make things.

We got a package in the mail today from our Aunt Becky... what a nice surprise! She sent Valentine gifts for the kids and some things for Abrianna. Thank you so much Becky for your gifts and thought in sending it to us! One of the gifts was a cake mix with all the fixings to make it a real treat.

I made a 'special' dinner for Joshua and I (with the kids). The table was decorated and we were all in either red or pink. I made Mahi Mahi Fish (a meal we had on a date and it has become "our fish," yes that is corny). Trying to make a nice evening even with the kids. Then after our dinner we decorated the cakes that Aunt Becky sent. That was fun. Icing and candy cake decorations all over the place!

Hannah loved making her very own cake.

Caleb needed some Daddy help!

Sarah just ate the cake decorations.

And Abrianna slept. That hat is another gift that Aunt Becky sent, there are socks that match too.

Happy Love Day!

Jennifer's Surprise Birthday Party

Joshua gave me a surprise birthday party! He called it: arrive and surprise. I tell you, that man can coordinate a party. He had the guests meet at a church just down the road from us and then everyone come at once to our house.
I knew something was up when he told me that the house needed to be cleaned and he went out to get a very large cake. At 3pm a train of cars started to drive into our driveway. surprise!
So in walk the guests carrying balloons, party hats, noise makers, paper plates, ice, drinks...etc.
This also was a party shared with Abrianna and she got lots of diapers!

Amy hadn't seen Abrianna yet and took her off my hands right away. Chatting with friends before cake. Joshua invited all my friends... he raided my email contacts list. Though he did miss some people and when we found that out, too late, he was so upset that some people thought they were not invited.

Cake time. The cake was good! The kids can back me up on that.

Joshua had also coordinated phone calls from those that would not be able to make it. Here I am talking with Aunt Katharine just before opening presents. Presents were also thought out by Joshua. He suggested Starbucks Gift Cards to be given. So I got lots of $ to my favorite place. Thank you, to all that gave gifts... so not expected!

Sarah is quite the entertainer. She is the least shy of all the kids. Just loves to give hugs and interact with anyone that will smile at her. :)

Caleb was there too he was too busy with ballons to take a picture.

Thank you Joshua for a nice "arrive and surprise" birthday party and all the pre-planning that you did.
