The out of towners

Joshua's family was in town and they stopped by to say hi! Paul and Sherry Blackburn and their daughter Becca and her family. It was very nice getting to see them again and us all getting to see our babies. We last saw them 3 years ago at Jonathan and Christie's wedding.

We 3 girls with our babies. Chrisite, Becca, and me. What good looking babies!

This is Becca's husband and thier girl Lillyanna. Jeremy was such a good daddy feeding and changing diapers. What a lucky little girl! (sorry about the typo on the picture.)

Our children colored with Jeremy and Becca's son, Jacob.

They got a little carried away. :)

Good converstaion and sweet time!

Great Uncle Paul and Grandpa David with some good look'n crispin's!

Sherry is a baby lady! She just loved huging on them. Sarah gave her a big hug, she's good at that.

Jonathan and Christie's little boy! He is a cutie. I think it's a Crispin thing!

We had a great time visiting with family! We are so glad that they were able to stop by. Hannah enjoyed having another friend to play with. Tonight we were playing the 'game' of who loves Hannah. (We just ask her who loves her and she goes down a list.) She then contiues the list with who she loves (the same people we just said), and then she added one, "And I love Jake too."

crispINformation VOL 5:4

Hello to all!

Just an update on what our family is doing. Birthday season has officially opened. Joshua, then Caleb, then Hannah, then Sarah, then Thanksgiving, then Jesus, then Abrianna, and then Me.

Joshua had a birthday today! (We spent the whole day fixing the air conditioner. Thank you God for a "cool" day.) Happy Birthday! IMPinc is doing well. We've sent out an email blast to churches and post cards too. That has brought in more business. Thanks be to God for that as well. You can see his most recent work at: http://www.impinc.us/Client_FBCgrapevine.asp

I am doing well. Keeping busy with kids and such. We've still not found a true church home. I thought that Fielder Road was it but then another church, Cross Timbers, started to court Joshua and now we're getting interest from 1st Baptist of Grapevine. We've been going to both churches and haven't been to fielder in a long time. While at Cross Timbers I had the opportunity to do Beth Moore's Bible study: Breaking Free. It was amazing! I really want to share more about that but will do so in another post. My album making business has been doing ok. Needs improvement but I'm not so sure that I can put my focus on that at this time. Still thinking that over. There is some other news that I'm going to post in an upcoming 7th Heaven Series. So be looking for that!

Hannah is fully potty learned (fully as in, day time only.). That has cut down on diaper use. She has been learning to write as you've seen in recent posts and she loves to sing and dance. I'd love for my sister Tiffany to come teach her some gymnast stuff b/c she is also trying to do cartwheels and all kinds of tumbling that she is just making up! Turning 4 soon and I just can't believe it.

Caleb is starting the potty learning. He does it in his time. So some mornings we wake up and he wants underwear and some days he flat refuses. I'm letting him ease into it. I think he'll be good in a couple months. Learning at 2 is impressive enough for me... well 3 in a month. Caleb is the sports star. He loves to play anything that has to do with a ball. Basketball is one of his favorites. We went to price hoops and just couldn't justify spending so much so Joshua made one. I think that it is very cool. And Caleb (and the other kids) loves it. He asks to go outside to play 'basitball.'

Sarah is getting more and more vocal by the day. She is saying more "words" but they just seem to be muffled. I think that I need to work on my pronunciation. She loves bears and is so kind hearted. She lights up the room. Sarah is into what ever big sister and brother are doing. She doesn’t want to be left out and is always trying to do what they do. And she eats! I'm not sure if this is a phase or the start of an eating habit... but isn't she cute!

Abrianna is crawling... yes I said crawling! I don't know if that is so normal for other kids but ours so far didn't start until they were 9m and here she is at 6m. She is also climbing to her knees. That girl does not know how old she is. I think that she wants to keep up with her siblings. She loves to explore tings. She crawls from one end of the house to the other looking and tasting everything she sees. Not so much a baby anymore… they grow up so fast! (And that’s a good thing!)

So, how about you and your family? We really do want to hear!

Art Corner: 4

Caleb and Hannah colored on the walls while I was taking a nap. (I was sleeping in the same room with baby gates up, I do not sleep and let them run wild.) They usually sleep with me but they were not tired today. I gave spankings and then took pictures. :)
These are Caleb's:

Mr. Clean's Magic Erase Bar is truly magic! It works great on crayon. I suggest getting the kind with the blue sponge backing to minimize crumble in your hand of the white stuff. What is that stuff anyway?

Duct Tape fixes everything!

Have you ever got frustrated with the tabs on diapers? Well... Joshua has the fix!

Caleb had once again taken his diaper off. Daddy-fix-it-all to the rescue!

However, frustration is still there with taking the diaper off!

Art Corner: 3

These are Hannah's from the past few days.

Trees

Big H and

I think it's funny that she can write the H and the A but has not yet put them together with the N's. She's getting there.

Flower

Blue's Clues

Blue's Clues is a cartoon that she and Caleb (and Sarah) like to watch. Blue is a dog. The circles are ears and the parrallel lines are legs. They had watched this show that day.

Abstract Person

Hannah says it's a person... you got me!

Hot Summer Days

It was a cooler day... you know, in the 90's...
Hannah, Sarah and Abrianna did the girl thing.

Caleb and Daddy did the boy thing.

Art Corner: 2

Here is Sarah's art:

Red

This is Caleb's art:

Cahbis

I love this one! It is framed and hanging on our wall. If you've ever seen a peice of art in a gallery and thought to yourself, "a 2 year old could have painted that," chances are, you are right! I think that this peice looks like something you'd see sell for thousands and we just may try it at ebay... :)

Art Corner: 1

Hannah just loves to create things. She likes to cut, color, glue... you name it! She loves it so much that she does it in her sleep!

Hannah and I met up with my friend Jeanie at Starbucks on our mother daughter night out. Jeanie came back to the house with us and she and I got to talking and I forgot that Hannah was still up. She was being so quiet. :) I went to check on her and found her asleep at the table. Hannah and I had a good laugh at that in the morning when I showed her the pictures. (Don't worry, we moved her to her bed!)

This starts Art Corner: A place to display our childrens creativity. Caleb and Sarah's art to follow. Enjoy!

CAR

Decorative H

Flower and Signature

Her sicnature will change as you see her learn to write her name. She can spell it out loud and write the H as of now. She can also recite her address and phone number.

Happy 4th

A wet 4th!

We met David and Sheila at Bedford Boys Ranch (family tradition) and my Mom and Mark met up with us shortly after. It was clear at our house... clearly not in Bedford. Sheila had some bread that she gave to the kids to feed the birds. That was fun. Sarah ate her bread.

We played and cooked dinner. In the rain. Hannah has an umbrella that she was trying to keep Sarah under.

(miss type - should read - Want to kick the ball?)
David was getting too wet so Sheila made him a jacket. Looks great!

We left the Boys Ranch for fear of sickness. My Mom and Mark came back to the house with us and we watched a movie with the kids and then saw the Hurst Light Show. Hannah fell asleep in the car so she missed it this year. Caleb and Sarah liked it though. Caleb calls them the, "boom booms."

After the show we booked it back to the Ranch and watched the show there too. We saw it from the car. Not the same as in the park with family, but a good show.
Happy 4th!

Caleb Cam: 3

Caleb got ahold of the camera again!
